Description
Geocache Tube Magnets
These fit into our clip top tubes and also in nearly every magnetic geocache we produce
Strong neodymium magnets. The magnets in this
listing are grade N35.
These magnets are triple coated
nickel-copper-nickel for good corrosion resistance
and these magnets are
magnetised axially giving a north pole
on one flat face and a south
pole on the opposite face.

*Holding force values are calculated for this size and shape
of magnet. It represents a maximum value for comparative purposes. There
are many factors that will influence real world results so please

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:
Neodymium magnets can be harmful if
inhaled or swallowed so please store them safely out of reach of
children. For children’s projects use them strictly under adult
supervision.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE:
If you allow neodymium magnets to crash
together or into metal objects the force may shatter them. Please take
care handling them.
Customer Notice:
Neodymium magnets are made from metallic
powders that are pressed into shapes and treated in a furnace.
These
shapes are then electroplated with nickel to prevent corrosion.
The
shiny nickel coating gives the impression that the magnets are made of
solid metal but they are physically more like pottery.
Depending on
their size and shape if you allow neodymium magnets to crash together
the force may shatter them.
